The county commissioners have not complained to people of Henry County, Georgia. Steve Cash is simply stating the stance of the HENRY COUNCIL FOR QUALITY GROWTH, Inc's standpoint in regard to free speech? Perhaps the HENRY COUNCIL FOR QUALITY GROWTH will allow a Q & A session on camera? I have not witnessed people saying the quoted words that Steve Cash used in this video. The principle of the matter is my concern here.
What truly motivated Steve Cash?

June Wood From AJC Voter Guide 2016

http://c3.thevoterguide.org/v/ajc16/race-detail.do?id=14682877

From AJC Voter Guide 2016; June Wood If elected, the two top policy priorities that I would work to achieve results are: 1) actively engage with District Commissioners, Municipal Representatives and other Henry County Intergovernmental Agencies to develop a short and long range Vision for Henry County to grow our tax digests, enhance our public safety and strengthen our traffic and fiber optics infrastructure. 2) Enhance any current policies, procedure and guidelines so that Henry County will be rated as one of the best counties for businesses based on our workforce, infrastructure, collaborative leadership and quality of life.
Candidate June Wood I do not want you to grow our tax digest. Our county is already desirable and you need no action to grow the said tax digest.
Candidate June Wood you will no longer be working for a private corporation trying to struggle and compete for the fiber optics service this is the duty the private folks.
Candidate June Wood Henry County is already the best rated county for business.

The 2016 Online Voter Guide is a non-partisan resource for voters in Georgia. The Georgia Voter Guide is a product of the League of Women Voters of Georgia and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The League and the AJC do not endorse candidates and thoroughly believe that voters should judge candidates based on their own merits, ideas and platforms. We work very hard to provide an intelligent, equitable forum where that can occur.
Please visit the League of Women Voters of Georgia website  for general information regarding voter registration, photo ID requirements, early voting and absentee ballots.

WHO IS DON HENDERSON

Handout for Don Henderson

Asia Ashley with the Henry Herald gets a big shout out and hat tip from me for their follow up. Steve Cash’s emailed statement “The Henry Council for Quality Growth’s programs are planned well in advance and was unaware that Mr. Henderson legally qualified as a write-in candidate until the day prior to this event.” Wow I guess they do not bother to read our legal organ. Look for yourself; I refer to the June 30, 2016 “Henderson qualifies as write-in candidate for BOC chair by Asia Ashley. Someone help me with the math; is that really 41 days?
Write-in BOC candidate says exclusion from recent forum was ‘unfair’

Per the Quality Growth Council 8-10-2016 during Q&A with Wood and Harrell
Since 2013, the Henry County Board of Commissioners has transferred $1.7 million from the Henry County building department to county’s general operating fund. According to the official code of Georgia, (annotated 48-13-9a & b-1) local governments are not authorized to use regulatory/permit fees as a means of raising revenue for general purposes, the operating fund. The law goes on to state, provided the amount of regulatory fees shall approximate the reasonable cost of the actual regulatory activity, the building department activity performed by the local government, knowing that other jurisdictions have done the same and lost costly judgments when legally challenged, how would you as commission chair address this infraction of state law?
The above is all nonsense. This group is a blight on all the citizens of Henry County. The real name should be The Council to Seal from Henry County. They are just a horrible as the Development Authority. A big load of fake outcomes.
The Henry County Council for Quality Growth is a blight on our county government. Remember at a recent BOC meeting they wanted to reduce the fees for permits. Just ask the BOC to upgrade the road standards for new subdivisions and see them swarm the BOC. Recall that one of the commissioners said that our roads are stressed by traffic produced by builders and developers. Then the county takes on maintenance. Look for yourself at new subdivisions and perhaps only a year later. Your tax dollars at work not the builder. Furthermore check the Quality Growth web page now days past due what do they have to hide?

Wood vs Harrell vs Henderson

Harrell vs Wood vs Henderson Page 2

August 03, 2016

The Democrat Harrell said the following: I currently serve on the Henry County Water Authority Board for the Henry County Water Authority… I also serve as chief of staff for Henry County Commissioner Bruce Holmes, District 5, acting as a strategic advisor, individually managing the day-to-day tasks and assigned duties and overseeing various projects on behalf of Commissioner Holmes and District 5. I was one of the District 5 appointees to the SPLOST IV Committee, which I advocated for various projects for District 5 as well as countywide working within a projected budget of $92 million. Looks like an empire building project with Harrell and Holmes at the top!

The Republican Wood: I retired from Georgia Power as an external affairs manager with more than 21 years of proven leadership, management and technical experiences. I am a proven fiscal agent of operations and maintenance budgets up to approximately $100 million and capital budgets up to $80 million. I am noted for my great people skills, my ability to adapt to diverse environments and my personal responsibility for results. I am recognized as a community leader. I just did not show up. Over the last 10 years, I worked to bring in over $58 million dollars of projects into our community. Those projects were done in coordination with state leaders, elected officials and many boards and groups I have led. Wood is the Past Chair of the Henry County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and previously served as the Henry County Chamber of Commerce’s Vice Chair of Government & Education, as well as the Chair of the Henry County Chamber’s Education Foundation. Looks like another empire building project with The Chamber of Commerce and the Henry Council for Quality Growth at the top!

Chairman of County Commission WRITE IN CANDIDATE DON HENDERSON·MONDAY, JUNE 13, 2016 This morning I filled out the paperwork that is necessary to become a WRITE IN CANDIDATE for the Henry County Georgia County Commission.

Why a WRITE IN CANDIDATE? Because of two reasons.....Reason number one is that I am not a Democrat nor Republican and if I wanted to run as an Independent I would have to gather over 5500 signatures to gain ballot access, something the Democrats and Republicans have been very successful in controlling, and I WILL NOT PAY TO PLAY as the saying goes..

In order to have your name on the ballot you have to PAY almost 1700 dollars and that is not going to happen with me....Find more about Don at his page;
